Willmott Dixon have constructed a new two storey steel frame extension to the existing Victorian Primary School at Oswald Road in Manchester. Parts of the existing school have also been remodelled and refurbished. The new extension provides several new classrooms, a music room, an IT suite and a new hall, kitchen and dining area for the pupils. Client: Manchester City Council. Architect: Ellis Williams Architects. Main Contractor: Willmott Dixon. Structural Engineer: Alan Johnstone Partnerships. Mechanical and Electrical Engineer: TACE.
